Our ocean is critical for a sustainable future. Protecting it starts with sparking passionate leaders.  As a young person, I love inspiring the next generation of young climate champions about our incredible OCEAN, SUSTAINABILITY & YOUTH CLIMATE LEADERSHIP.  â€‹

My favourite part of the summit was the guest speakers. There was such a variety of people there to speak with us from all different fields in conservation, which was very engaging and educational :)

Why this MATTERS?

1

Our ocean needs our help!

With over 80% of the ocean overfished, and less that 3% properly protected, we need ocean leaders now!

The ocean gives us over 50% of the air we breathe, yet most of us don't know what we can do to help.

2

Making ocean careers visible

Other than a marine biologist, what jobs are there in the ocean space?

Through our events, we connect young people with incredible people to make marine jobs visible, from business and conservation to education and engineering.

3

Addressing climate anxiety through action

80% of young people are concerned about our climate. And rightly so.

Things are getting worse. More climate education is great. But this must be paired with ways to take action. To inspire hope. To be a climate leader.
