"when we protect
ouR oceans,
we are protecting
our future."

WHO WE ARE

Run by young people, for young people.

We fuel creativity, innovation and positive climate action through free events and summits.

By partnering with leading scientists and organisations, we connect young people with those leading the charge in innovative solutions.

That way, we aren't leaving young people with scary climate facts. We are connecting them with the organisations making waves all around the country.

We are showing them positive action is possible. At any age!

IMPACT THAT COUNTS

My favourite part of the summit was the guest speakers. There was such a variety of people there to speak with us from all different fields in conservation, which was very engaging and educational :)

Why this MATTERS?

1

Our ocean needs our help!

With over 80% of the ocean overfished, and less that 3% properly protected, we need ocean leaders now!

The ocean gives us over 50% of the air we breathe, yet most of us don't know what we can do to help.

2

Making ocean careers visible

Other than a marine biologist, what jobs are there in the ocean space?

Through our events, we connect young people with incredible people to make marine jobs visible, from business and conservation to education and engineering.

3

Addressing climate anxiety through action

80% of young people are concerned about our climate. And rightly so.

Things are getting worse. More climate education is great. But this must be paired with ways to take action. To inspire hope. To be a climate leader.

Our climate and our ocean is highly interconnected. To build a resilient future, we aim to develop and inspire young leaders to take tangible action for our ocean. We connect youth with ocean experts and focus on hands on learning.

Founded by a University of Melbourne Wattle Fellow to deepen young people's connection and understanding of our precious ocean, it is facilitated together with leading marine scientists, conservationist organisations and University student mentors.
